We carry out all necessary excavation and groundworks before installing patios, driveways or other landscaping features. This includes removing existing materials, preparing the ground correctly and installing suitable sub-bases to ensure strength, stability and proper drainage.
Where access is restricted, we operate specialist narrow access machinery, allowing us to carry out excavation and groundwork even in gardens with tight access points. This helps us complete projects efficiently while minimising disruption to the surrounding property.
Proper Sub-Base Construction
All paving and driveway installations are built on carefully prepared sub-bases using quality aggregates such as MOT Type 1, which are installed and compacted in layers to provide a stable foundation.
This ensures patios and paved areas remain level, durable and resistant to movement over time. Correct base preparation is essential for any landscaping project, and we never cut corners when it comes to this stage of the work.
